Application Procedures

Applications for specific vacancies

Please send applications for teaching vacancies to:

Applicants for other advertised vacancies should follow the application procedure outlined in the advertisement.

The application should take the form of a letter of application with an embedded photograph and a C.V. A joint maximum length of 4 pages applies to all applications and C.V's.

There is no application form.

The letter of application should include a brief statement of the applicant's educational philosophy and should closely address the particular vacancy and job description. Generic applications for specific vacancies are not encouraged.

Applicants should also state what it is about the College that attracts them and how they could support the College's extensive programme of Activities, Global Concerns and Service projects.

Candidates should include a home telephone number and the contact details (including email addresses) of two academic referees who will provide confidential references. Open testimonials and university transcripts are not required at this stage and should not be sent.

We reserve the right to deviate from the published deadlines or procedures if circumstances require it. This may include the extension or curtailment of the closing date period.

Expressions of Interest

Please address your expression of interest in teaching at UWCSEA to Geraint Jones, as above. It should be no longer than four pages, including your cover letter, and include an embedded recent photograph.

Your Expression of Interest should include a brief statement of your educational philosophy and broadly outline what it is about the College that attracts your interest in joining the staff. You should also outline how you could support the College's extensive programme of Activities, Global Concerns and Service projects.

Expressions of Interest in non-academic positions can be forwarded to the attention of Doreen Chng, Human Resources Manager via the same address above, or emailed to hruwc@uwcsea.edu.sg.

Please include contact details which we can keep on file. Open testimonials and university transcripts are not required and should not be sent with your expression of interest.
