Classes in Middle School

In Middle School you will be put into a class which we call a Tutor Group. Your Tutor is the person you go to if you have any problems. In Grade 6 and 7 you will be going to almost all of your classes with your Tutor Group. In Grade 6 you will be divided up for math, according to your level of aptitude for the topic, and for the language option that you have chosen. In Grade 7 you will be divided up for Math, PE and Language. In Grade 8, because classes are formed in sets according to subject choices, you will have the same Tutor Group you had in Grade 7 but you will only spend 20 minutes per day with them because the rest of your classes are with your set. You will be in different classes for PE, math and language.

Classes are held in different locations so you will be walking around a lot, make sure you keep a not of where your classes are so you don't get lost! You can always ask students, staff or the Middle School office if you cannot find your class.
