FAQs
What is a Tutor Group?
Your tutor group consists of around 22 people and you meet with them for 25 minutes every day. In tutor group you will read the Bulletin and find out any important information that is relevant to you. You will also get the chance to get to know your classmates better. You will have many of your classes with your tutor group in grades 6 and 7. However, in grade 8 it is slightly different as you will still meet with your tutor group each day but your classes will be in ‘sets' instead, i.e. with a different group of people.

Will I get Homework?
Unfortunately, that answer is yes. Homework in Middle School will become an increasingly important and time consuming part of the student's life. In Grade 6, you will be assigned about five hours of homework per week. In Grade 7 you will be given about six hours per week and in Grade 8, you will have seven hours of homework per week. However these amounts can vary as during some points of the school year, students may have no homework, while at other times they may have significantly more.
